Enclosed is Licensee Event Report (LER) No. 96-014-01: Ipadequately Tested Auxiliary Buildina Roof Plua Leads to Secondary Containment Inocerability When Seconda.v Containment was Required by the Technical Soecifita_tiga. This report is being submitted in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.73.
This Licensee Event Report contains the following commitments:
e The design change for the alternate roof plug will be revised to specify the necessary secondary containment integrity testing prior to its next usage during Mode 4 or 5 when secondary containment is required.
A trpYing seminar will be provided to appropriate design. change-qualified personnel on the need for specific testing requirements. This event will be referenced in that i traimng. ,
