Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations Ladies and Gentlemen:

On February 19, 2020, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2020-01, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations." RIS 2020-01 requests that licensees voluntarily submit projections of their site-specific operator licensing examination schedules as well as the estimated number of applicants planning to take operator licensing and generic fundamental examinations for years 2022-2025.

Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) hereby provides as enclosures to this letter the requested information on NRC form 536 for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant- Units 1&2, Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant- Units 1&2 , Vogtle Electric Generating Plant - Units 1&2, and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant- Units 3&4. The estimates provided represent SNC's current understanding , but are subject to possible change in the future. These enclosures supersede previous, similar RIS responses.
