Enclosed for your information is the synopsis of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Office of Investigations (OI) completed report regarding discrimination for raising safety concerns.

The NRC determined that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that a former contract employee at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station was discriminated against for raising safety concerns. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. OI Case No. 2-2017-021 SYNOPSIS This investigation was initiated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Office of Investigations, Region II, Atlanta, GA, on April 14, 2017, to determine whether a former contract employee at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Generating Station was discriminated against for raising safety concerns.

Based upon the evidence developed during this investigation, OI did not substantiate the allegation that a former contract employee at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Generating Station was discriminated against for raising safety concerns.
