As requested in NRC Special Inspection Report 05000458/201501 0, this letter is to inform the NRC of our intentions regarding the Preliminary White Finding for failure to adequately assess the risk of operating the control building chilled water system* (HVK) chillers in various single-failure vulnerable configurations. River Bend Station has chosen the oPtion to attend a Regulatory Conference to present the station's perspective on the facts and assumptions used to arrive at the finding and assessment of its significance.
