Description:==

CCW SURGE TK B Interaction Effects 7. Are soft targets free from impact by nearby equipment or structures?

SWT observed scaffolding in zone of influence of level transmitter with no bracing or wall anchorage at top bay (3 bays total). Members appear suitable to withstand moment so as to preclude collapse, but verification is required from scaffolding documentation on site.Licensing Basis Evaluation:

SWT received WCNOC Scaffolding Evaluation (Scaffold Request # 12-S0189, Work Order # 11-345393) that validates scaffold installation in accordance with procedure.

SWT concludes from engineering judgment that scaffolding is acceptable given member capacity in bending and light loading due to single bay at the top. No adverse seismic concern.8. DIESEL JACKET WATER HEAT EXCHANGER Interaction Effects 7. Are soft targets free from impact by nearby equipment or structures?

Yes Noted approximately 3/16" clearance between HX and pipe support overhead.

Pipe support appears flexible but pipe itself is 8" and rigidly connected to HX, which gives considerable stiffness.

Accordingly, there is no spatial interaction concern.8. Are overhead equipment, distribution systems, ceiling tiles and lighting, and Yes masonry block walls not likely to collapse onto the equipment?
