Dinsol Generator #14 was nine hours into a scheduled 100-hour test run when it tripped on low lube oil pressure at 8:45 a.m. (CST), December 12, 1985. Both Diesel Generators

-#13 and #14 had'recently experienced bearin ~

repairs. .(See PNO-III-85-95, 95A, and 958)g problems and were in a test run following The licensee is investigating two possible causes for the latest problem: bearing failure and the erratic behavior of #14's service water pump. ' It later tripped for about 4 minutes. Shortly after it came back on,-the #14 diesel generator tripped.-

-Diesal Generator _#13 testing is in progress while diesel generators #11 and #12 are being reassembled following inspection and repair.

' Regi;n III (Chicago) and the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation continue to monitor the diesel generator problems. The impace of this most recent problem on plant availability for restart is unknown at this time.
