SUBJECT:

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY UNDER CHAPTER 4152 SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE (SES) PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM This memorandum confirms the delegation of authority to:

A. The Deputy Executive Director for Operations to perform the SES performance appraisal functions specified below.

1. Serve as Supervising Executive to appraise and to write performance plans for the following positions: Directors, Office of Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data, Office of Administration, Office of Resource Management, and Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization / Civil Rig';ts. I will serve as the Ranking, Rating, and Awarding authorities for these positions. I will also serve as the Reviewing Official for performance plans for these positions.

2. Serve as Reviewing Official to review performance plans for:

a. positions reporting directly to the Directors, listed above, and those reporting to the Executive Legal Director; and

b. positions reporting directly to the Directors, Office of Nuclear Reactor Reactor Regulation, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research and Office of Inspection and Enforcement.

B. The Assistant for Operations, Office of the Executive Director for Operations, to perform the SES performance appraisal functions specified below.

1. Serve as Supervising Executive to appraise and to write performance plans for the following positions: Directors, Office of International Programs and Office of State Programs. I will serve as the Ranking, Rating, and Awarding authorities for these positions. I will also serve as the Reviewing Official for performance plans for these positions. ,
