OFFICE SEMINARS Please note the attached memo from the Chairman.
In the interest of conserving travel related expenses for office seminars, the Chairman asks us to watch the area carefully. I do not wish to discourage office " retreats", but I do wish to eliminate any frills attached to them. I would therefore like you to:
- 1. Hold such meetings at or reasonably close to the work place. I have no objection to divorcing staff from the insnediate work place, but the distance should be minimized.
- 2. Advise me by memo, prior to firming up details, of the purpose, place and estimated cost in order that I can clear with the Chairman.
