SUBJECT:
OFFICE SEMINARS Please note the attached memo from the Chairman.
In the interest of conserving travel related expenses for office seminars, the Chairman asks us to watch the area carefully.
I do not wish to discourage office " retreats", but I do wish to eliminate any frills attached to them.
I would therefore like you to:
1.
Hold such meetings at or reasonably close to the work place.
I have no objection to divorcing staff from the insnediate work place, but the distance should be minimized.
2.
Advise me by memo, prior to firming up details, of the purpose, place and estimated cost in order that I can clear with the Chairman.
