OIA REPORT OF FTS ABUSE BY NRC EMPLOYEES The following actions have been taken in response to your report of October 13, 1985 on incidents of FTS abuse.
The Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, has reported to you directly the action he has taken with regard to the employees involved (Attachment 1). The Director, Office of Administration, has advised the Controller of the sums for which.he should initiate debt collection procedures (Attachment 2). Upon completion of the debt collection process, we will consider the matter closed.

Dear Mr. Pollard and Ms. Weiss:
Your letter of February 26, 1986, provided a report detailing your views on the safety of Babcock and Wilcox (B&W) reactors. We intend to consider those issues that you raised in your letter and report in the reexamination of the basic design requirements for B&W reactors.
You have not provided any information that would cause us to alter our conclusion that continued operation of the B&W plants, during the time it takes to complete our reexamination, does not pose an undue risk to the public health and safety.
