OIA IDENTIFIED ISSUES Enclosed is an OIA memorandum that identifies 16 issues that certain staff i members believed were new and had not been previously identified. The issues i 4 can be categorized as follows:  ;

1. Matters that have not been fomarded by the director of a sponsoring office for CRGR consideration. l

2. Matters that have been considered by the CRGR (CRGR recomendations have been made), and the sponsoring office director or the EDO have decided to adopt or not adopt CRGR recommendations.

For either category, sponsoring office directors are responsible for deciding how a matter is to be addressed both before and after CRGR consideration of the matter. Therefore, I think it is appropriate that you provide a short response (one paragraph or less) sumarizing your decision concerning each matter under your purview. Additionally, please indicate where your present position may differ from that which you took following review of the CRGR recomendations.

I request that your responses be provided to me by March 10, 1986.

Because the commentaries provided by OIA appear to indicate a breakdown in l staff-management comunications, please ensure that your cognizant staff is made aware of your decisions on these and similar matters.
