Schedule for the UCSB L-77 Reactor Defueling
Dear iir. Garcia:
As presently planned, the defueling equipment will be setup and a pre-defueling radiation survey performed on Tuesday, Feburary 18, 1986 The defueling operation will be initiated on Wednesday, February 19 and will be completed on Thursday morning, February 20. Cleanup of the defueling area and post-defueling radiation survey will be performed Thursday afternoon, February 20 and Friday, February 21.
Shipment of two containers of fuel will be made on February 21. Shipment of the final two containers will be made on Wedr.esday, february 26, to comply with NRC requirements of less than one kilogram of U-235 per shipment.
