since beginning the cable pas reinspection, we have had a policy for acceptance ,
of hangers which hive a connection assembly which is, covered by fireproofing,
I as recesfirming this
making it impossible to verify the connection detail.

When inspectors are performing pan hanger or conduit hanger inspections they are
required to verify the connection detail is as specified by the Architectural
Engineer.
Should the hanger its connection detail rendered inaccessable by fireproofing,
the inspector should research the weld inspection file fer che related weld
inspection for a given hanger. If the weld traveler has been accepted the ,
inspector shall note the traveler on the hanger inspection report and shall
accept the detail.
This acceptance is babed on the f act that the veld inspector is required to l
identify the type connection detail for each veld. By virtue of this identification
the welding inspector has confirmed the use of the correct detail by his
,
acceptance of the Meld.
If there is no weld inspection in the file for the specified hanger, the fireproofing l
shall be removed and the required inspection performed and documented. (See Memo 216) i
