This was caused when an I&C Technician inadvertently connected a digital voltmeter to read resistance across the relay contacts for the Reactor Trip Breaker instead of the Reactor Trip Bypass Breaker. This resulted in the opening of the Reactor Trip Breakers thus causing a Turbine trip, and since the Unit was operating above 49% output, an automatic Reactor trip also occurred.
