Dear Mr. Sumner:

This refers to the meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on November 29, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. The meetings purpose was to discuss various management initiatives at the Farley Nuclear Plant. Enclosed is a list of attendees. Information presented during the meeting is available from the NRCs document system (ADAMS) as accession number ML0633400006.

The discussions included the following topics: current operational performance; performance indicator margins; engineering support reorganization; pandemic flu plan; 4 kilo-volt breaker replacement program; containment sump modifications; pressurizer surge line weld overlay; and main steam line/main steam isolation valve vibration. The meeting was candid and informative and provided useful insight into your staffs understanding and resolution of the discussed topics. The meeting did not result in specific action items or decisions.
