i j (3) Both Indian Point Units 2 and 3 are tocated within the i

corporate borders of the VILLAGE OF BUCHANAN. In addition, CONSOLIDATED i

! \ EDISON COMPANY OF NEW YORK, the licensee of Indian Point Unit 2, provides i  !

\ \ electric service to the nesidents, businesses and other non-public entities i

within the Vittage. Electricity is provided to the agencies of the Vittage I

govermnent itself by the POWER AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, licensee

, of indian Point Unit 3, pu*r snant to contract between the Village and the h

i l\ Authority, dated October 4, 1976.

(4) In tight of the facts set forth above, any action 1 l taken by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission which Witt ef fcct the continued operations of the Indian reint units will have a dineet and innediate upon ef fec t upon the Vittage.
