Notification of Two South Texas Project Actions Attachments: Notice of Draft Environmental Assessment for South Texas Project Licensing Request Hi Robert, I know youre busy, but have you had a chance to look at my email from last Thursday (attached)? It concerns an environmental assessment for South Texas Projects resolution to possible containment sump debris clogging during severe accidents (Generic Safety Issue 191).

Also, the NRC staff is preparing to issue a permanent amendment allowing the extension of containment leak rate testing from every 10 years to no more than 15 years. This is based on past acceptable performance of both STP units containment leak rate testing and probabilistic risk analysis.

If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call. I am in the office today and out of the office through Friday, 4/29. Please contact John Klos with any questions, John.Klos@nrc.gov or 301-415-5136, while I am out. I will be back on Monday, 5/2.
