  • TMI-2 TMI 2 willill b be maintained i t i d iin currentt PDMS mode d until til decommissioning begins
  • TMI TMI-22 license termination will occur before September 2053 (60 years after cessation of operations)
  • Decommissioning costs are estimated to be

$844 885 000 (b

$844,885,000 (basedd on 2008 ddollars) ll )

  • Environmental impacts of planned decommissioning activities are bounded by impacts associated with post-post accident cleanup activities and GEIS 10

Conclusion

  • NRC received a PSDAR for TMI-2 on June 2828, 2013
  • Although NRC is not required to approve the PSDAR S by regulation, NRC C will review the PSDAR
