In the Matte'r of Docket Nos. 50-259 Tennessee Valley Authority 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) NO 333 STANDBY LIQUID CONTROL SYSTEM (SLCS) SOLUTION TANK - BORON CONTENT - UNITS 1~ 2~ AND 3 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 and 50.90, TVA hereby submits a request for an amendment (TS-333) to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52 and DPR-68 to change the BFN Technical Specifications for Units 1, 2, and 3 (Enclosure 1). The proposed changes revise the amount of Boron required to be stored in the SLCS Solution Tank.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission SEP 29 1993 TVA has evaluated the proposed Technical Specification amendments against the criteria provided by 10 CFR 50.92 and has determined that no significant hazards considerations are involved. A reason, for the change, description and justification in support of the, proposed amendments are enclosed (Enclosure 2). A proposed determination of no significant hazards considerations is contained in Enclosure 3.
