Rochester GasandElectric(RG&E)hasproposed(Reference a)torevisetheGinnaStationTechnical Specifications toremoveContainment Isolation ValveTable3.6-1andmaintaintherequiredlistingintheUFSAR.However,thisrequest,affecting manycontainment isolation andtestingissues,hasnotyetbeenapproved.

Therefore, RG&ErequeststhatalimitednumberofspecificchangesbemadetoTechnical Specification Table3.6-1tosupporttheIntegrated LeakRateTest(ILRT)whichistobeconducted duringthe1993Refueling Outage.NRCapprovalofthesechangesisrequiredpriortofillingandventingthereactorcoolantsystemwhichiscurrently scheduled forApril14,1993.TheproposedAmendment shouldbeconsidered effective within30daysafterRG&EreceiptofNRCapproval.
