This letter is to inform you that Charles R. Fay, Vice Provost for Research Administration at Cornell University will be assuming the role and responsibilities of Director of the Ward Center for Nuclear Studies (WCNS) effective September 1, 2006. Howard Aderhold, the current Director who came out of retirement to successfully oversee the removal of sources and equipment at the start of the decommissioning process, will be stepping down as Director effective August 31, 2006, and will no longer formally represent Cornell University generally, or the WCNS specifically, after that date.
