Dear NRC:
As Vice Provost for Research Administration at Comell University, I am the executive officer res ponsible for the decommissioning project referenced above. I write to notify you that Mr. Steve Be yers has been appointed the Cornell Project Manager for the decommissioning effort as identified in ihe organizational chart included as Figure 2-4, page 36 of 73, of the Decommissioning Plan for the W, ird Center for Nuclear Studies at Comell University, Revision 1 dated July 2003, as submitted to yolir office in August of 2003 and now under NRC review. Mr. Beyers is an employee of Comell Un,iversity's Environmental Compliance Office (ECO). He reports directly to me in his role as Project Matnager for Cornell's decommissioning effort.
Mr Beyers is an official representative of Cornell University in all communications pertaining to our De commissioning Plan. He should be copied on all correspondence in that regard.
