APPROVAL OF FINAL STATUS SURVEY PLAN FOR THE CORNELL UNIVERSITY WARD CENTER FOR NUCLEAR SCIENCES REACTOR FACILITIES

Dear Mr. Fay:

By e-mail dated October 10, 2006, Steve Beyers of your staff submitted revision 1 of the Final Status Survey Plan (FSSP) for the Ward Center for Nuclear Studies at Cornell University. We have reviewed the FSSP and determined that it is consistent with the guidance in NUREG-1757 and the MARSSIM [Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual] methodology and is therefore acceptable.
