On March 26, 2014 and April 17, 2014 South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G), acting for itself and as an agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, submitted a License Amendment Request (LAR) to change the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Unit 1 Radiation Emergency Plan under 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 50.90. Based on conversations with NRC staff on July 24, 2014 and August 12, 2014, SCE&G has decided to withdraw the proposed license amendment and submit a separate LAR for the relocation of the Technical Support Center.Should you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Bruce L.
