DRAFT: RAIs for Cooper Nuclear Station Re: LAR for Revised TS Pressure-Temperature Limits (ME7324) Attachments: ME7324 RAIs Email.docx Ed, By letter dated September 22, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML11272A057), Nebraska Public Power District submitted a request to amend Facility Operating License DPR-46 for Cooper Nuclear Station (Cooper), pursuant to the provisions 10 CFR 50.90. The license amendment request proposes revisions to the Cooper technical specifications (TS) to include (1) new pressure-temperature (P-T) limit curves that are valid for 32 effective full power years of facility operation, and (2) new TS surveillance requirements for verifying that the reactor vessel (RV) flange and RV head flange temperatures are greater than the revised minimum operating temperature specified for the proposed P-T limit curves.

The NRC staff has reviewed your submittal and has determined that the information specified in the attached Request for Additional Information (RAI) is needed for the staff to complete its evaluation.

Please contact me if a clarifying teleconference is needed for the attached RAIs.
