The purpose of this request is to permit representatives of Applicant, the NRC Staff and the League of Women Voters to meet in an attempt to negotiate any differences between the parties over the specificity, basis and clarity of the filed conten-tions.The aforementioned parties have scheduled an informal meeting in Rockford, Illinois, on Wednesday, August 15, 1979, and have authorized Applicant to represent to the Board that they concur with this request for an extension of time.It is the expectation of the parties that by meeting informally prior to the prehearing conference scheduled for August 21, 1979, the parties can significantly reduce the number of differences between them which would have to be presented to the Board for resolution.
