MF5164 By letter dated November 5, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14314A033), and May 21, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15147A017), South Carolina Electric & Gas Co. (the licensee) submitted information summarizing the results of the spring 2014 steam generator (SG) tube inspections performed at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS), Unit 1. VCSNS, Unit 1, has three Westinghouse Delta-75 SGs that were installed in 1994. Each SG has 6,307 thermally treated alloy 690 tubes with an outside diameter of 0.6875 inches and a nominal wall thickness of 0.040 inches. The tubes are supported by nine Type 405 stainless steel tube support plates and the U-bend sections are supported by four Type 405 stainless steel anti-vibration bars. The first 17 rows of tubing were stress relieved during fabrication. | |||
