FIRST 10 CFR 54.21(b) ANNUAL AMENDMENT By letter dated August 17, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23233A179), Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc (DESC) submitted an application for the subsequent license renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-12 for Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS) Unit 1.
10 CFR 54.21 (b) requires DESC to report changes to the current licensing basis (CLB) that materially affect the contents of the subsequent license renewal application (SLRA),
including the updated final safety analysis report (UFSAR) supplement. These changes are required to be submitted each year and at least 3 months prior to the scheduled completion of the SLRA review by the NRC.
DESC has completed the first annual review for the period from October 1, 2022, through August 12, 2024. This review concluded that no changes have been implemented to the CLB that materially affect the contents of the VCSNS SLRA.
