Parr) dated September 29, 1978 forwarded the subject topical report. You stated that the report was being submitted in response to a specific NRC request as part of the GESSAR dockets and that General Electric considers the report exempt from any fee charges.

We agree that since the matter covered by this topical report is an extension of the PDA review of GESSAR and since the GESSAR review was started prior to the effective date of the new fee schedule regulation, NED0-24048 is exempt from fee charges.
