Dear Ms. Curran and Mr. Jordan:

This is in further response to your letter dated August 6,1984, in which you appealed the partial denial of Mr. Steven Sholly's Freedom of Information Act request for documents concerning General Electric Company's (GE) Probabilistic Risk Assessnent (PRA) for the GESSAR-II standardized plant design.

In Mr. William J. Dircks' letter dated January 31, 1985, he stated that, with respect to the seven primary documents, the information for which GE had relinquished its proprietary claim and the information which NRC did not find had sufficient competitive value would be released. The NRC review was based on GE's December 11, 1984 index which you received as Attachment 3 to Mark Rubin's declaration.

Recently, GE informed us that it had made a typographical error on one page of the index. The "pages containing material to be deleted" for document 7 should have read 2-7 through 2-18 rather than 2-17 through 2-18. The NRC assumes that GE has relinquished its claim to any material not included on the December 11 index except for pages 2-7 through 2-16 of document 7. The NRC is now reviewing pages 2-7 through 2-16.

Accordingly, we are releasing the pages of these seven primary documents for which GE has relinquished its claim and the information that NRC does not l

consider to be proprietary in these seven primary documents. Copies of all of the pages now being released are enclosed.

Sipcerely,
