The criteria is as follows:

: a.     For 600V power and control cable sizes #8AWG and smaller, terminal lugs shall be insulated. For insulated terminals two (2) crimps, one shall be on the conductor and one on the insulation, per manufac-turer's reconnendations.

3.0 INSTRUCTIONS I

f 3.1 VERIFY PROPER LUG OR CONNECTOR / CONNECTION, TYPE AND SIZE l

The QC Inspector shall visually inspect or witness (as required). Class 1E cable terminations in accordance with l

standard work practices and any applicable tennination manufacturer's recommendations and the following criteria:

a.

Terminal lugs and connectors shall be compression solderless tin plated copper type, unless supplied by equipment manufacturer.

All cables / wires shall be terminated in accordance with i

Engineering approved drawings and/or vendor drawings.
