LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region IV Conference Room 1067 1600 East Lamar Blvd.

Arlington, Texas 76011-4511 PURPOSE: This is a meeting between Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff and Energy Northwests Columbia Generating Station to discuss three inspection findings associated with the site emergency preparedness program. The findings include apparent failures to maintain a standard emergency action level scheme, maintain adequate methods for assessing the potential consequences of a radiological emergency, and a failure to report to the NRC a major loss of emergency assessment capability.

CATEGORY: This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with NRC staff during or after the meeting.
