Public Open House to Discuss the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) 2022 Annual Assessment of Safety Performance at Columbia Generating Station Name of Licensee: Energy Northwest Name of Facility: Columbia Generating Station; Docket No. 05000397 Date and Time: Thursday, April 27, 2023, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT Location: Richland Public Library, Conference Room A 955 Northgate Drive Richland, WA 99352 Category: This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

NRC staff will host an in-person end of cycle open house meeting to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Columbia Generating Station for 2022, as described in the 2022 annual assessment letter. NRC resident inspectors will be available for questions about the safety performance of the station and the NRC's role in ensuring safe plant operations.

The agenda is an open house poster session where members of the public are welcome to attend and ask questions.
