Purpose:
The purpose of this regulatory conference is to discuss the safety significance of a preliminary finding of low to moderate safety significance and associated apparent violations of NRC requirements in regard to the reactor water cleanup (RWCU) radioactive material uptake event that occurred at Columbia Generating Station (CGS) before the agency makes a final determination. These findings and apparent violations are discussed in NRC Inspection Report 05000397/2021-090, dated January 13, 2022 (NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML21347A988).
