LastyeartheCoomission appointed Professor NormanRasmussen oftheHassachusetts Institute ofTechnology toconductanindepthstudyoftheprobabilities andconsequences ofaseriousaccidentatanuclearpowerplant.Attheconclusion ofthestudyadraftreportwasissuedforcommentbyinterested membersofthepublic.Copiesofpressreleasesrelatingtothisstudyareenclosed.
