| This letter documents the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. (KHNP)s facility at Vienna VA to review implementation of your Safeguards Information Protection Program in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 73.21, Protection of Safeguards Information: Performance Requirements. Specifically, the program and its implementation, will be reviewed as they pertain to KHNPs design development. As discussed during via electronic mail on December 18, 2023, the inspectors plan to conduct the inspection on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
