These technical specifications changes are being reviewed concurrently by the Browns Ferry Nuclear Safety Review Board.

In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined this proposed amendment to be Class III for unit 1 and Class I for units 2 and 3 These classifications are based on the facts that the proposed amendment involves a single safety issue which does not involve a significant hazard consideration for unit 1, and the proposed amendment for units 2 and 3 is a duplicate of the unit 1 proposed amendment. The remittance for $2.800 ($4,000 for unit 1 and $400 each for units 2 and 3 less $2,000 already provided with TS 178 and Supplement 1 thereto) is being wired to the NRC, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
