Dear Mr. Wentworth,

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) plans to issue an amendment to revise Fermi Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 2 (Fermi 2) technical specifications (TS) in response to DTE Electric Companys following proposed amendment request.

DTEs amendment request, dated October 28, 2020, is publicly available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML20302A480.

It appears that a copy of the amendment request was also ccd by DTE to Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.

The proposed amendment would revise the Fermi 2 Technical Specifications to: Adopt TSTF-529, Clarify Use and Application Rules.

On January 26, 2021, the NRC had issued a proposed finding that the amendment involves no significant hazards consideration in the Federal Register (

Vol. 86 FR 7115).

Please let me know if the Michigan State has any comments on this proposed amendment by April 9, 2021.
