CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR APPLICATION DATED IMRCH 31, 1989 By letter dated March 31, 1989, NNFD-RL submitted a revised ground water monitoring program for the Liquid Waste Disposal Facility tanks. This monitoring program is to be incorporated into License No. SNM-778. The inclusion of this program is procedural and will not adversely impact the public health and safety or the environment. Implementation of the monitoring program will provide information that will be used to determine if the tanks have leaked into the ground water. Accordingly,pursuantto10CFR51.22(c)(11),

neither an Environmental Assessment nor an Environmental Impact Statement is warranted for the proposed action.
