CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED JUNE 19, 1986 i
By letter dated June 19, 1986, Babcock & Wilcox requested that Building A be !
released and deleted from License No. SNM-778 as an authorized place of use.
By memorandum dated May 8, 1987, Region II recommended that Building A be >
unconditionally released, as ORAU had performed a confirmatory survey verifying l that the Building met the release criteria, i This action will not result in any adverse effect to the public health and safety nor will it compromise the environmental protection. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(c)(11), the staff concludes that neither an Environmental Assessment nor an Environmental Impact Statement is warranted for this proposed action.
