One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-4 B6 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Working-level meeting to discuss planned modifications to the service water (SW) system and actions in response to Generic Letter (GL) 2004-02 at Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1 and 2. The meeting will discuss an amendment that will remove accumulators from the SW system and simplify control and flow parameters. The meeting will also discuss an extension for Unit 2 commitment to GL 2004-02 (containment sumps and debris blockage) beyond December 31, 2007, until the Unit 2 steam generators are replaced in spring 2008. The meeting agenda is enclosed. | |||
