Dear Chairman Hendrie:

We are in receipt of the hearing notice regarding the above captioned Joint Proceedings, advisina that the luaring will take place on Thursday, June 14, 1979, at the Convention Center, Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York. I have received complaints from residents of the Stuyvesant and Columbia County area who are intervenors in this matter objecting to the place of this hearing. They feel very strongly that such a hearing should be made as available as possible to the people and they object to having to come to Albany and contend with the traffic and parking problem--which can be very bad during the time when the Legislature is in session. We are now in sess1on through Thursdays. I agree with s vi strongly support their objections and would urge that you change the location of this hearing to the auditoriu:. of Colu=bia-Greene Co=:nunity College, Hudson, New York, which would be easily accessible and would provide adequate parking for everyone. I ask your very serious consideration of this request, and would appreciate an early response. Sincerely,
