Dear Mr. Wenner:
A representative of the EMC met with NRC Staff Counsel Stephen Lewis on June 14, in Albany, New York.
At that time, Mr. Lewis stated he would dis cuss the Council"s contentions core specifically by telephone in the near future.
Mr. Lewis telephoned our office on June 27, and discussed what the NRC's Staff Counsel positien vould probably be on each of our contentions.
He suggested expanding and reformulating some of our contentions with more careful attention to specif'fing all the aspects of each contention.
It was his request that the expansion of our contentions be made n'tailable to Staff Counsel as soon as possibic.
We will be submitting these very shortly.
