Enclosed is the final After Action Report/Improvement Plan for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise held on August 18, 2015.
There were no Level I findings or Plan Issues identified for the State of Minnesota or the Counties of Sherburne and Wright. There was one Level II finding identified and re-demonstrated for the State of Minnesota. There were no Level II findings identified for the Counties of Sherburne and Wright. There were two Plan Issues resolved in 2014 during the revision of plans and procedures from a previous demonstration.
Based on the results of the exercise, the planning and preparedness for the State of Minnesota and affected local jurisdictions provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect public health and safety. Therefore Title 44 CFR Part 350 approval of the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Minnesota remains in effect.
