Dear Mr. Beach:
This letter is to inform you of recent changes in the Clinton Power Station management organization. Mr. Paul J. Telthorst, formerly Supervisor-Operations Training, has been appointed to the position of Director-Licensing at Clinton Power Station. Mr. Telthorst replaces Mr. Richard F. Phares who was temporarily assigned to the Director-Licensing position when Mr. Michael W. Lyon (formerly Director-Licensing) was appointed to the position of Director-Plant Operations. Mr. Phares continues to hold the position ofManager-Nuclear Assessment.
IP informed the NRC that Mr. Lyon was appointed to the position ofDirector-Plant Operations in Illinois Power (IP) letter U-602642, dated September 24,1996.
However, Mr. Lyon's title has since been changed to Assistant Plant Manager-Operations.
In addition, the title of Mr. A. E. (Tony) Mueller has been changed from Director-Plant Maintenance to Assistant Plant Manager-Maintenance.
Effective immediately, please replace Mr. Lyon and/or Mr. Phares with Mr.
Telthorst on the distribution of all future correspondence related to Clinton Power Station.
