Subject:

Editorial Correction to Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3, Technical Specifications Page 3.8.4-3

Reference:

1. Letter from P. R.Simpson (Exelon Generation Company, LLC) to U. S.

NRC, NRequest for Amendment to Technical Specifications Associated With Direct Current Electrical Power," dated July 29, 2003

2. Letter from Maitri Banerjee (U. S. NRC) to Christopher Crane (Exelon Generation Company, LLC), "Issuance of Amendments - Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3, Request for Amendment to Technical Specifications Associated with Direct Current Electrical Power (TAC NOS.

MC0295 and MC0296)," dated June 8, 2004 In Reference 1 Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) submitted an amendment request regarding Direct Current Electrical Power. This submittal contained marked up Technical Specifications pages, indicating the changes requested, and re-typed pages, incorporating the requested changes. The wording of Required Action E.3 of Technical Specification 3.8.4 was correct in the marked up page. During the preparation of the re-typed Technical Specifications page 3.8.4-3, two words in Required Action E.3 were transposed.

In Reference 2, the NRC issued Amendment No. 207 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-1 9 and Amendment No. 199 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-25 for Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3, respectively. During EGC's review of Reference 2, the wording transposition in Required Action E.3 of Technical Specification 3.8.4 was identified.

Attachment I to this letter provides a markup of the Technical Specifications page 3.8.4-3 to correct the identified editorial error. EGC is requesting that the NRC reissue Technical Specifications 3.8.4 page 3.8.4-3 with this editorial correction incorporated. Attachment 2 provides the re-typed page with the editorial correction incorporated. The transposition of words does not after the intent or direction provided in Required Action E.3 and does not invalidate any of the conclusions or approvals of the NRC Safety Evaluation provided with Reference 2.
