At'the beginning of the month, the plant was operating.at 100%. rated thermal power. On June 4th at 1358 while a calibration was being completed on Power Range Channel N42, a spike occured on Channel N43. ~With N42 still in test, the 2/4 RPS logic was made up to-cause a reactor' trip on Power Range Hi Setpoint Hi Trip. Repairs were made to Channel N43, operational tests j completed and the reactor was taken critical on June 5th at 1547. The breaker:was closed at 2122 on the 5thiand the unit returned to full power at i 0618 on June 8th. l 1
The unit' operated at 100% rated thermal power for the remainder of the month' .
