INITIAL CRITICALITY Byron Unit 2 achieved initial criticality at 6:38 a.m. (CST), January 9,1987. The actual point of criticality was consistent with that predicted. The resident inspectors were in the control room observing the approach to criticality.
Tha licensee's schedule calls for low power testing to be completed on January 21, 1987.
