i Directorate of Licensing PRCCEDURES FOR CONDUCT OF ACRS MEETINGS During the 15%h ACRS meeting, the Committee discussed procedures for conduct of 'ts activities as affected by implementation of the Federal Advisory Ccnmittee Act.
With respect to scheduling ACRS review of projects, the following changes are to be implemented:
- 1) The Staff Safety Evaluation Report must be received by the Committee members at least 5 days prior to the Subcommittee meeting at which the project is to be considered. To provide for mailing time to the members, the Staff Safety Evaluation Report must be received in the ACRS Of fice approximately 9 days prior to the date a Subcommittee meeting can be held.
- 2) Review of a project by the Full Committee will not be scheduled at an ACRS meeting until at least two weeks aftt.r the last Subcommittee meeting on that project. This interval will provide for processing and distribution of Subcommittee meeting minutes and any comments provided by mecbars of the public, as a result of this meeting, prior to the
" cut-off" date for receipt of such comments for the Full Committee neecing at 1/nich the project is considered.
To provide for implementation of these revised procedures without undue impact on project reviexa, the Committee has agreed to waive the two-week requirement for the April "m 3 ceeting.
