SUBJECT:

HI SET POINTS FOR RELIEF VALVES Licensee letter dated March 7,1973 informs of est point drift WRS (to 275 peig high) on Electromatic relief valves as discovered DO February 7,1973 in course of a directed calibration prompted MB by experience with set point drif ts (low) or Unit 2*.

The Licensee concludes that the limiting conditions for operation were not violated because the ADS functions of the valves were impaired and the safety valves alone provide over-pressure not protection per the ASME Code.

Cause: unknown
