ACRS Henner Bolt Failure June 26, 1972 Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated 6/7/72 reports the failure of four hanger bolts for the torus succion header. During a startup test program inspection four failed bolts were found. Temporary support was provided for the suction header. The failures are attributed to poor workmanship in the construction of the hangers. The hangers will be reworked and larger bolts with non-threaded bearing surfaces will be installed. The investigation is continuing and further modifications may be required. This matter was discussed by Compliance et the 146th ACRS meeting, June,1972. t l No ACRS sction is recommended. i.
